Bruce John’s Genre Jam is a musical journey through time and genre.

Bruce John is a seasoned guitar player and singer who knows over 400 songs and plays 250 shows a year. He was one of the former owners of Shaboo, a legendary nighclub in Mansfield, CT.

Jim Mercik (fingerstyle guitar) has performed with Bonnie Raitt and Ramblin Jack Elliot and studied under the legend, Dave Van Ronk. Jim’s song “Is this enough” is part of the Smithsonian’s Permanent Collection of Folk Music.

Peggy Ann Harvey (violin, sax, harmonica) has a long career on fiddle with the legendary bluegrass band, Trevor Holllow, and has appeared on stage with Bill Monroe, Dan Tyminksi, and many more.

Sean Riddle (upright bass) holds a masters in music and is well known in jazz circles on both coasts.
